Holidays in Ibiza... a destination dreamt about by many for a variety of different reasons.
If you’ve ever thought about spending a few days on the legendary White Isle, but its image projected in the media of one continuous, wild party doesn’t attract you as you would prefer to enjoy its beauty in a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, this is your post.
Sailing round the Ibizan coastline is a unique and unbeatable experience, difficult to forget.
There are many reasons why you’ll love spending your holidays in Ibiza on board a boat. Here we suggest 3 of them, and we’re sure they will convince you.
1) You’ll enjoy the scenery from a different perspective
The panoramic view from a boat of the stunning coves of fine white sand and their calm and crystalline waters will remain imprinted in your mind forever.
You will also have the privilege of visiting those that can only be reached from the sea, and will get to the best places in the region in a much faster and simpler way, including Formentera and the surrounding islands as the magic Es vedra.
2) A hotel will never offer the same recreational opportunities
If you travel in a group or with the family, the cost of accommodation will go through the roof, and, even if it is at the same price, you won’t be able to enjoy the incredible experiences that the sea and sailing offer you:
water sports such as stand up paddle boarding, the SEABOB, swimming, snorkelling, fishing... or simply sunbathing whilst under sail, feeling the wind on your skin.
One thing is for sure: you’ll never get bored on a boat, as the possibilities are endless.
3) All the worlds of Ibiza in one single trip
Imagine enjoying dawn in the spectacular surroundings of Les Salines and afterwards sailing to Ibiza Town to visit the walled old city of Dalt Vila, a World Heritage Site, and making the most of your time there by doing a spot of shopping in the La Marina neighbourhood. Then sail to Cala d’Hort to eat at Es Boldado, one of the best restaurants on the island, as we mentioned in an earlier post. Lose yourself watching the sun set over the turquoise waters of Cala Tarida and round off the day with a meal or drink, enjoying all the happenings at Kumharas, the most surprising bar on the island, located in San Antonio Bay.
