This is one of Ibiza’s most beautiful urban beaches. It proudly boasts its well-deserved blue flag, an undoubtable quality seal for its visitors to enjoy. Its shore is home to a varied gastronomic offering, with restaurants and beach bars to suit all tastes, as well as hotels, apartments and of course, parasols, sun loungers and a wide range of water sports.
This beach is surrounded by high cliffs blanketed by pine forests, making it one of the most protected on the island of Ibiza. This transforms it into a natural port: a perfect spot for mooring and spending the night. This beach has all the necessary tourism services, such as restaurants, shops or equipment hire for water sports.
Es Portixol beach is one of the most “hidden” beaches on the island of Ibiza, thanks to it being slightly tricky to access. You’ll need to follow a steep path for approximately 30 minutes. Es Portixol is the perfect cove to visit by boat. You’ll enjoy total peace and calm (even during the summer months) and you’ll be able to take in one of the best spots for a swim in Ibiza.
Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta are two of the top-rated beaches, by locals and tourists who head to the island each year. Why? Its turquoise water, white sand and an extensive pine and juniper forest which transform this spot into one of the most stunning landscapes in the Pityusics. Just a few metres apart, many people choose to moor at Cala Salada and the cosy Cala Saladeta, where they can enjoy a refreshing swim right at the heart of Ibizan paradise.
The surroundings at Punta Galera is one of the White Island’s most unexpected landscapes. Its coast is formed of huge, smooth rock faces which overlap each other. You won’t find beach bars and sand here and there is a distinct lack of signposting to access this beach by land. This very special location definitely doesn’t get overcrowded. Punta Galera is also one of the best snorkelling spots on the island, so don’t forget to moor here on your next boat trip around the north of Ibiza.
