The Formentera Island Council is supporting this initiative that combines the art and music of local, national and international artists who are both well-known and new on the scene.
The inauguration will take place in a bar on Migjorn Beach where, after the presentation, there will be a jam session.
For 4 days the Main Square in Sant Francesc Xavier and the Jardí de Ses Eres Marquee in Sant Francesc Xavier will host eminent musicians such as Jorge and Jesús Pardo with their ‘ElectroDjinn’ project, the Ibizan trumpet player Pere Navarro, the duo Okou and DJ Panko, ex-member of Ojos de Brujo, the singer Irene Atienza and the saxophonist and flautist Jorge Pardo.
Youngsters will be able to learn the most basic jazz principles with a Junior Percussion Workshop led by the musician and Festival Director Maxwell Moya, on Saturday at 5 pm .
Can you imagine it? Sailing during the day, relaxing on the island’s incredible beaches and splashing in the coves, and in the evening enjoying the elegance and liberation that jazz music evokes at a unique music festival in an exclusive part of the Mediterranean:
A combination of sensations that you can enjoy between May 31 and June 3 and that you can hardly forget.
