Cala Jondal
Hiring a boat in Ibiza to anchor in Cala Jondal is a great idea to enjoy a day’s sailing. It’s open to the south, is 300 m in length and luxury yachts often anchor here.
The surroundings are incredibly beautiful with cliffs and pine trees and a seabed of fine sand, seaweed and pebbles .
Port Roig
Anchoring in Port Roig will ensure protection from all winds apart from the southwesterly. With a seabed of sand and seaweed, you can enjoy the terracotta colour of its cliffs from where you can head towards the two small nearby islets and a peaceful night, as it is still one of the least built-up areas on the island.
Ses Ovelles
An unspoilt paradise that owes its name to a torrent that used to pass through the zone years ago. The sediments carried by floodwaters during the rainy season shape this bay that is considered a paradise for lovers of nature. Hiring a yacht in Ibiza to anchor in Ses Ovelles offers a great opportunity to enjoy a day full of nature at its wildest.
Cala D’Hort
Its turquoise waters with a soft sand seabed, its breadth, the unbeatable views to the islets of Es Vedrá and Es Vedranell, its southwesterly orientation, its excellent conditions for diving and one of the best sunsets on the island make this place one of the most magical to anchor in Ibiza and even spend the night.
Cala Vedella
Even though this bay is perfect for anchoring owing to its depth and for being surrounded by pine-clad hills, it cannot be exactly defined as peaceful. Also called Cala Badella, it is one of the most crowded on the island as it is full of shops, bars and restaurants that offer a lively option if you are planning on hiring a boat in Ibiza with the idea of going onshore.
