The island acquires an intense green hue in autumn, making anchoring in some of its coves and venturing onto land from there to go for a walk a highly recommended suggestion, crossing dunes, tracks and rocks. Amongst these coves, Atlantis, Cala Blanca and Cala d’Aubarca stand out as being genuinely unspoilt, untainted beaches that will also delight lovers of nature.
At Sant Josep de sa Talaia, next to the airport, there is the Sant Jordi flea market selling second-hand items. And, as well as the Eivissa street market to the west of the island, there is also the Punta Arabí Hippy Market in Es Canar, with more than 500 craftspeople plying their trade, along with that of Santa Eulària des Riu that specialises in fashion jewellery.
Also not to be missed is a visit to the legendary Las Dalias market, in Sant Carles de Peralta.
To round off the day, what better than enjoying one of the stunning autumn sunsets that the island has to offer?
One of the most spectacular can be seen from the cove of Benirrás, from where the islet commonly known as “El Dedo de Dios” (The Finger of God) can be glimpsed.
Also impressive is the sunset that can be enjoyed from Cala Conta, with an infinity of colours dancing across the sky.
So you see, there’s no excuse for not enjoying Ibiza in autumn and travelling round different and unusual places by boat.
