Dropping anchor is possible but dangerous and it is also difficult to disembark on the beach due to the number of corals and its shallow nature. It is however a pretty route to take to admire the beauty of the area on the way to Formentera.
It’s a sandy beach but there is often seaweed as there are many waves in the area as the wind blows from the east or northeast. From the beach it is possible to see the cathedral of Ibiza. The beach has a very relaxed atmosphere and is often visited by celebrities who wish to move unnoticed amongst the beauty of its dunes and Sabina trees.
Its three bars are exceptional and although it is not an ideal beach to drop anchor at, it’s a great place to try Mediterranean gastronomy.
One of our favourite restaurants on the island. Open all year round, you can enjoy eating in the sun in a privileged environment with sea views. It’s decorated with huge tables and Balinese wooden chairs, sofas and a comfortable interior for winter. It is also an excellent place for celebrating events like weddings.
Its dishes are Mediterranean and there you can try seafood pasta, marvelous rice dishes or freshly baked fish in the oven. We recommend seasonal fish from the area like Gallo San Pedro and their rice dishes.

Situated in front of the sandy beach of Es Cavallet, you can enjoy views of the Old Town (Dalt Vila) from the restaurant. It offers brunch style breakfasts until 1 o’clock and then the menu becomes more variable offering a wide range of Mediterranean fusion dishes.
There is a glamorous and relaxed atmosphere here where those least energetic can also order food and drinks from the comfort of their sunbeds. This is the ideal place for events due to its size and location.

Situated at the end of the beach this restaurant can only be reached on foot, by swimming there or by car (with special permission). This remote bar was opened 35 years ago by Alberto Ciatera and over the years has become a reference point for the global gay community offering freedom and fun for all those who go there. Offering a varied menu and large choice of cocktails this bar is most memorable.
The chef recommends its octopus carpaccio or the thai salad which can be accompanied by one of the many fresh juices or sangrias which will surely help to recharge your batteries
